I obtained my PhD in molecular genetics at the University of Windsor where my research focused on characterizing the roles of the Drosophila mitotic cyclins in Anaphase Promoting Complex/Cyclosome activation and meiosis progression. Recently I was a Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer at the University of Montreal. My research focused on the identification of molecular vulnerabilities arising upon partial Plk1 inhibition in human cells, using genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 chemogenomic screens.
