About Mohammad Sharey

Aspiring automation engineering graduate passionate about leveraging data-driven machine learning methods for the development, optimization, simulation and control of systems and processes, with 3+ years experience including master thesis, working student, and student research assistant. Some examples of my work include: • Achieved a steady state error of under 1.7% through of a plastic injection molding process simulation by using an machine learning model implemented as a Grey Box Model to predict the inner cavity pressure of the process in MATLAB, Simulink and CasADI. • Analyzed data of 100 ICU patients with data points to create a model of blood glucose level implemented as a Grey Box model in MATLAB and Simulink in the role of a research assistant at MedIT RWTH. • Achieved MSE loss of 0.002 for predicting the bending moment of gears using powder metallurgy by training a implemented as a Black Box model with a dataset of more than 50k samples and 18 features for modelling Additionally, I’m a bouldering fan and go climbing in the gym regularly, mainly because it's the only place where falling down repeatedly is considered part of the sport. I get very excited about challenging opportunities where I can contribute towards the development of data-driven control systems.
