From 1993 till 1996 I performed challenging tasks in the construction of Hub Power Plant. In construction of 1100m x 50m x 8m dimension Colling water intake channel from sea to plant including construction of 260m x 15m x 7m concrete box culvert into the sea. 900m x 30m x 5m dimension sea water outlet channel with stone patching works. Supervision in construction of 200m high concrete chimney, including the construction of RCC foundations of plant heavy equipment, Oil & Water storage tanks & RCC road across the plant in variable environment conditions. Since 1997 I have been associated with Hub Power Plant in a maintenance services department and performing undermentioned assignments as a station services Supervisor. • Maintenance of civil structures including plant and residential camps. • Industrial Scaffolding & rigging Services to plant during day-to-day maintenance activities and planned outage and project works. • Maintenance of heavy machinery like hydraulic crane, Counterbalance forklift truck. • Dredging operation & dredger maintenance. • Facilitating deep sea diving team in diving operations • Maintenance of plant’s Underground services e.g, Firefighting system, Domestic water supply system & Oily and chemical drainage system. • Working on day-to-day Maximo system. • Cost estimation of full year repair maintenance and project scope. • Multi-Million budget preparation and utilization according to plan along with resource arrangement. • Dealing with contractor. • Member of Station’s emergency response team. • Member of Rain emergency committee. • Team leader of department level committee for HSE matters. • Internal Auditor • Fire Warden etc.
