About Mohammad Zadeh

Mohammad is a Chartered Bridge Engineer with 12 years experience of inspection, construction, design and assessment of bridges and highway structures. He is comfortable with client, financial, programme and people management and has demonstrated over a significant time a high level of performance. He has experience in production of calculations and drawings for preliminary and detailed design stages. He has carried out feasibility studies and prepared Approval in Principles, specifications and tender documents. He also has experience in construction site supervision particularly with reinforced concrete structures. He is capable of managing and undertaking a variety of asset condition inspections for infrastructure asset management, including General, Principal and Special Inspections and testing for the structural analysis and proposal of repair options for reinforced concrete, steel and masonry structures. He has experience with structure whole life costing and the development of optimum maintenance strategies and the design of remedial repairs for car parks, bridges and other highway structures. Over the past few years Mohammad has developed a good understanding of British Standards, Highways Agency Design Manual for Road and Bridges (DMRB), SI Version of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and Eurocode Standards. He has working knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD and analysis softwares such as Lusas and Sam Leap. He has the ability to provide support for multiple concurrent priorities and has established, maintained and developed effective working relationships with clients, site managers, contractors, suppliers, general public and colleagues. He has the experience required to take leadership on projects in key areas such as budget matters, quality control, safety and timeframe targets. During his time at Amey, he also operated as Bridge Assessments Team Leader. During this period, he developed his understanding of Value Management practices in the UK.
