About Mohammed Alim

With a Master's in Development Management from the University of Turin, Italy, Alim brings over a decade of experience across fintech, Islamic social finance, and product development. He currently serves as CEO of IBF Net Group in Singapore. Simultaneously, he works as Product Manager and Visual Designer at Supa Stellar in Canada, and is Co-Founder of Netversity International in Indonesia, addressing edtech challenges within the halal and Islamic economy domain. His earlier career includes four years at Ethis Malaysia, progressing from Product Managemer to Chief Product Officer, and co-founding GlobalSadaqah as Head of Product in Kuala Lumpur. Alim is also an award-winning photographer. He won the Unsplash Awards 2025 and received Gold in the People Category and the Color Photography Award at the 2025 Refocus Awards. His photograph of Masjid Istiqlal was also shortlisted for the Unsplash Awards 2024 in the People category. Beyond his professional roles, he has served as an Asana Ambassador since 2020, supporting education initiatives around productivity and project management. His early career began with photo-documentation work for Dompet Dhuafa, one of Indonesia's largest NGOs focused on poverty alleviation. He holds certifications in UX Design from Google, Blockchain Development from IBM, Digital Money from Tufts University's Fletcher School, and Project Management (PMD Pro 1 & 2) from APMG International, alongside credentials in Customer Analytics from Wharton and Data Science from Johns Hopkins.
