With over 19 years of experience in the steel industry, I am a Deputy General Manager at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, where I oversee quality assurance and control and product development. My expertise is in Automotive steel and I have a strong background in product design and process control for cold-rolled steel, having worked at JSW Steel Ltd and Essar Steel in the past. I have skills in root cause analysis, QMS, IATF, and Six Sigma, which enable me to ensure our products' highest quality and performance. I am passionate about product innovation and customer satisfaction, and I strive to deliver solutions that meet the diverse and evolving needs of the market. I am also committed to collaborating with and empowering my team and learning from and sharing best practices with other industry leaders. I have also contributed to the drafting of national standards for steel products. I have varied experience in Multiple environments and am engrained with a deep understanding of the quality & and process of the complete supply chain and ecosystem of steel production and steel customer processes. Exposure to the implementation of systems for Business (ERP-SAP), process execution (MES), and material testing (LIMS) for Improved yield, process efficiencies, and Prime steel production.
