Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to PMC QA/QC MANAGER, TEAM LEADER. Conversant in reporting /documenting Non-conformance,site discrepancies, Follow up of corrective & preventive action to achieve timely close out of SOM,CAR & NCR’S. Responsible for the implementation of the project requirement based on approved procedures and specifications and quality control procedures, inspection and test plan, mainly on all welding activities involved for the fabrication of piping spools in shop and on the field pipe installation which includes tie-in jobs to all piping contained wiithin modules, packages or sub-assemblies and on plant equipment. Ensure that all materials used for fabrication and welding parameters conform to the project specification requirements, scope of works and on approved drawing for construction. Conduct daily routine checks on all welding activities if welding parameters in applicable WPS have been achieved such as bevel tolerances, cleaning, welding consumables type and size, welder qualification, welding equipment condition, pre-heating (if requires) and inter-pass temperature requirement, electrical characteristics (amp-volts) welding speed, welding size, welding sequence as well as PWHT (if required). EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT: • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: • Certified Welding Inspector – CSWIP 3.1 ( certificate no 58380/2 Expires on 18-aug-2026) • CSWIP BGAS GRADE 2. Certified painting inspector.(certificate no 77300/2 expires on may-2023 ) Lead auditor IRCA. • ASNT NDT Level - II • Radiography testing (RT) • Dye Penetrant testing ( DPT ) • Ultra sonic testing ( UT) • Magnetic partical testing (MPT) • RTFI. & VT. • OSHA from Abu Dhabi (uae.)
