Engineer freshly graduated in industrial engineering in 2022 specializing in "Agile factory management" from the ecole centrale Nantes. This field allowed me to have the essentials of the industry world, I chose this field because it is design or the improvement of a system of men, machines, information, and money to achieve an objective with efficiency, quality, and safety. Design -> Some industrial engineering tasks involve creating a new facility, process, or system. Improvement -> Most industrial engineering tasks involve the improvement of an existing plant, process or system. System -> Most engineers design physical objects, but most IEs design systems. Systems include physical components, but also processes, rules and people. The components of a system must work together. Flow of materials and information between the components of a system. A change to one part of the system may affect other parts of the system. People -> Of all the types of engineers, IEs think about people the most. Machines -> An IE must select the appropriate machines (including computers). Information -> Data can be used for immediate decision making but can also be analyzed to make system improvements. Money -> An IE must weigh current costs and savings against future costs and savings. Purpose -> Every designed system exists for a purpose. IE should consider different ways to achieve this goal and select the best one. Efficiency -> Whatever the goal of the system, IE generally seeks that the system achieves this goal quickly and with the least use of resources. Quality -> The EI organization always has a customer and the organization must provide goods and services to the customer with the quality that the customer wants. Safety -> IEs must ensure that the system is designed in such a way that people can and will work in complete safety.
