About Mohammed Shaikh

With over 10 years of experience as a senior Dev SecOps Engineer, I have a passion for designing, building, and maintaining reliable and efficient IT infrastructures that support diverse environments and applications. I currently work at Edgio, a cutting-edge startup that provides cloud-based solutions for media streaming and content delivery. At Edgio, I am responsible for creating and managing CI/CD pipelines and IaaC of our team's infrastructure, using tools such as AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Gitlab. I also automate the provisioning of EC2 instances, migrate from Cloudformation to Terraform, deploy containerized applications in the cloud and on bare metal servers, and build a client-facing CLI. Additionally, I implement tagging strategies to track and allocate costs, and leverage monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Signalfx, and Splunk to ensure performance and availability. Through these initiatives, I have contributed to enhancing the scalability, security, and optimization of Edgio's infrastructure and services.
