About Mohan Chinnasamy

I have completed Ph.D in the field of RF/Microwave design (antennas and metamaterials), at SSN College of Engineering (Anna University) Chennai. I have completed my postgraduate in Communication systems from Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Chennai, and undergraduate in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Peri Institute of Technology, Chennai. I am passionate and well trained in Planar Antenna design, RF/Microwave Components ( Antennas, & metamaterial) and sensor node design. I have 4 years of research experience. In addition to my research, I have extended my hands-on experience by measuring various antenna designs using Vector Network Analyzer and Anechoic Chamber, which have helped me to understand the functions of antenna measurements. My software and Hardware skills: Instruments: Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer (up to 40 GHz), Antenna measurements in an anechoic chamber, microwave test benches. CAD tools: CST Microwave Studio, ADS, Ansoft HFSS. Operating Systems: Windows XP/Vista /7/10. Office packages: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). At present, I look for jobs in the RF/Microwave (antenna design engineer), and EMC testing to explore more in this field.
