About Mohan Deshmukh

Myself Mohan Nimba Deshmukh. I have completed my post-graduation in M.Sc. Plant Breeding and Molecular Genetics from MGM Institute of Bioscience and Technology, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad). I have completed my graduation in Agricultural Biotechnology from K. K. Wagh College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Nashik. During my graduation. Out of curiosity regarding research carried out in the field of biotechnology. I have attended various seminar, workshop and conferences which helped me to get closer to the subject. Currently, From Nov-2023 to Present I'm working as a Jr. Plant Breeder at Yashoda Hybrid Seeds Pvt. Ltd, Hinganghat. From Jun-2022 to Nov-2023, I have been working as a Research Associate at Ellora Natural Seeds Pvt. Ltd, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad). Working as a crop in-charge in Okra breeding. Run and also studied about the various programs like Line Development Program, Line Maintenance Program, Half Di-allele Crossing Program, Full Di-allele Crossing Program, Station Trials of crosses that made by me, Plant to Row Progeny Testing, GOT (Grow out Test) of Hybrids as well as Parents, Breeder Seed Multiplication Program, etc. Also study the block designs like RBD, CBD, CRBD, LSD, Etc. over here. From Feb-2022 to May-2022 for four months, I have been worked as a Trainee Research Fellow at ICAR - Indian Institute of Seed Science, Mau, U.P. I have worked on Isolation of nucleic acid (DNA & RNA), performed PCR, RT-PCR and Gel Electrophoresis. With the help of this techniques we performed hybrid purity testing using Molecular Markers, while performing we gained knowledge why errors occur during DNA isolation, PCR, Gel Electrophoresis. Learned how to handle equipment’s without an error and proper handling of equipment, chemicals and how to overcome on these errors. During working period, I have polished so many professional skills related to Conventional Breeding, Molecular Biology, Plant Breeding and Field work. I therefore believe my skillset and experience would make me a valuable asset for your organization. I strongly believe that my knowledge regarding these fields will beneficial for your organization and it will also help me to enhance my skills and knowledge to achieve my career goals with significant motive towards research.
