Retired as Dy. General Manager from Syndicate Bank, a premier Bank in India in July 2018 after 4 decades of experience. Experience across the Banking spectrum including Branch Management, Growth planning, Client acquisition and retention, Treasury operations both back office and mid office and Risk Management across Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk and Enterprise Wide Risk Management, Capital markets functions including issuance of Bonds both AT1 and Tier 2 Bonds, Shares issue FPO, QIP etc. Risk Limit setting, Limit Monitoring, Risk Reporting, Development of Risk Reports, Policy Formulation and obtaining Board Approval, Dealer performance review, Regulatory report filing, attending to Regulatory Supervision Process and ensuring satisfactory closure as part of Mid Office functions. Handled ALM functions, Policy formulation and obtaining Board Approval, Monitoring Liquidity of overseas Branch, understanding of FSA guidelines Regulatory guidelines and Basel Guidelines. Experience of developing and implementing Risk and Control Self Assessment framework, Risk Appetite and Enterprise Risk Management. Part of team for implementation of Funds Transfer Pricing software. Experience in Capital Planning, conducted Stress Test, development of stress test scenario, developing ICAAP and periodical review, placing before Top. Management including Board of Directors.
