Am a management professional with Engineering background having worked in various countries around the globe: Delhi (India), Seattle (USA), Stafford (UK), Paris (France) and presently operating out of Sydney (Australia).I have worked for 20 years in the construction industry delivering infrastructure substation & overhead transmission line projects to the following sectors: Oil & Gas Public Utilities Power Generation Industries RenewablesThe substation & transmission line projects were delivered on a turnkey basis and involved: Designs: Electrical & Civil Construction: Buildings, access roads, Electrical plant Commissioning Handover of completed project to the customer Defects Liability Having started my career as a Graduate Engineer, I worked through the ranks to take positions like Senior Engineer, Sales & Tendering Manager, Project Manager, Project Director, Operations Director before taking the role as Director for ALSTOM Solutions group and responsible for the Pacific region.In my role as Project Manager and Project Director, I was responsible for the complete P&L of my assigned projects/ program of projects.In my role as Operations Director, I was responsible for the complete P&L for all the projects in the Pacific region.In my role as Director (General Manager) – Solutions Group, I was reporting to the Vice President in East Asia Pacific. 3 main responsibilities included: 1.
