OVERALL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform inspection & Tests as Specified in Quality Control Plan in Conjunction with WPS, Drawings, Codes and Standards & Client Specification. Having knowledge and Experience in implementing QCP, Approved Quality Control procedure, ITP Inspection check list and Inspection test reports. Inspecting the brought out materials & the equipment’s-verifying, comparing them with MTC the required Specifications/Standards. Material Identification with PMI. Verify Materials during Fit-up and the respective Material Certificates Against drawing/specification requirements. Auditing and inspection of welding related activities at different sub-contractors work locations. Carrying out random stage inspection & witnessing important activities as per the standard requirements. Checking of complete weldment against requirement of drawing and job specification. Controlling the welding of joints according to Isometric Drawings and Checking Diameter, Thickness, Drawing Number, & Class in welding Progress report. Qualification of welders and welding operators for different types of Welding Process and materials. Review of welder qualification records, Verification of welding consumables handling and storage. Verification of baking of electrodes & electrode issue register. Maintain the Daily weld Inspection report, Weld Trace-ability Report, NDT reports, Flash report and weekly Inspection report for meeting. Reviewing final Packages for Hydro-Tests, approving & releasing for Hydro-Test. Witness of Hydro & Pneumatic Test as per required specification. Check and assure that all joints are exposed for examination during pressure test. Ensure that isolation or disconnection of equipment’s not to be tested. Check vents are open when filling and draining lines. Responsible for various NDT activities like VT, UT,RT, MT,PT and UTT, corrosion survey of pipes, thickness measurements. Witnessing of Rework and Repair Welding,PWHT records & Charts, Witnessing Hydro and Pneumatic Tests. Preparation of as built drawings & RED Markup drawings. Pre-visual Inspection and Post cleaning of all equipment’s whichever is opened, Inspection after cleaning / chemical cleaning and list out the repair activities in accordance with procedure and standards. Experience in Repair Work and Inspection. Like Column, Vessels, Heat Exchanger, Tank & Drum, Boiler, Strainer, and Heater.
