Mobile Modem (Chip set) Test Engineer with 5 years of experience in the area of Field Testing. •Manual Mobile Testing (Performance, Functional and Stability) of pre-launched Samsung, Motorola, HTC, LG, Microsoft, NOKIA Smartphones, etc. based on BREW, Android and Windows platform embedded with Qualcomm chipsets. •Test cases performed included FTP Download/Upload Throughput measurements in LTE, VOLTE, Vo-Wi-Fi, Volte Calls, VT Calls, System Acquisition and Ping, SIB, RLC, RRC, CSFB, LTE to WCDMA IRAT testing, TAI, Cell Reselections and handovers, Inter frequency HO'S etc, in different frequency bands like Band-40 (TDD), Band-3 (FDD) and Band -5 (FDD). •Performing Drive test along the specified route (provided by operators) to check the Mobile under Test behavior for Network related Test Cases like Attach to the live network, Throughput KPIs, Different type of Cell Reselections, Multi-RAB, Handovers, RRC state transitions, MO/MT call, IRAT, Redirection, Near Cell, Cell Edge locations etc. •Coordinate with developer for debugging and retest of 2G, 3G, 4G, VOLTE and CDMA Test cases and issues observed while testing. •Involved in creation and modify test cases as per device or technological requirement. •Expertise to convert one chipset into different modes (DSDA/DSDS/SS) by adb commands & NV items (in QXDM). •Good Knowledge of QXDM, QPST, QMICM, KPI-ATS, Datum and Automation tools (CTA, QSST and Cruise). •Point of contact (POC) for the Qualcomm team for onsite projects dealt. •Travelling to different locations in India or Abroad of client based on project requirements. •Reporting issues or bugs using JIRA ticketing tool in the databases of Qualcomm on their website. •Preparing summary reports with iteration wise details after the complete course of testing. •Responsible for preparing and sharing, weekly & monthly status reports with the client •Received Rock star Award for hard work, performance, efficiency & contribution in July ’14.
