I believe Travel Consultants are an important part of the travel and tourism industry. We use our networking abilities and organizational skills to coordinate and manage high-value travel arrangements. With that being said I am a seasoned travel consultant with a good experience. My main goal is to enhance satisfaction, acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele and reach revenue targets (Profit & Yield). These are few of my day to day responsibilities:* Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable tour programs and tailor made packages etc.* Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets, accommodation, transportation and excursions etc.* Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, itineraries, emergency contact information)* Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary and tailor made tour packages.* Handle unforeseen problems and complaints.* Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends.* Create and update electronic records of clients.* Maintain relationships with key persons.* Reach the set profit targets.
