About Mohit Patel

As a Prosthetist and Orthotist I provide comprehensive and patient-centered care to people with neuromuscular disorders musculoskeletal trauma deformity or amputation. I prescribe design fabricate fit and train patients with orthotic and prosthetic devices such as wheelchairs braces and artificial limbs to maximize their function and self-sufficiency. I also collaborate with other rehabilitative professionals such as physical and occupational therapists to ensure optimal outcomes for the patients. In addition to my clinical skills I have a strong background in brace fitting compliance and stire management which I developed during my previous roles as a Compliance Analyst at Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) and a Prosthetist and Orthotist at Capital Prosthetics and Orthotics. I have experience in reviewing maintaining patient records ensuring compliance with regulations releasing information to authorized parties and managing stock and inventory of medical devices and equipment. I am also proficient in computer operating and communications which I use to enhance my efficiency and effectiveness in my work. Currently I am pursuing my Master's degree in Orthotist/Prosthetist at University of Strathclyde where I aim to deepen my knowledge and expand my skills in this field. I am motivated by the opportunity to improve the quality of life and well-being of the people I serve and I am always eager to learn and grow as a professional.
