About Mohit Rajdev

A US-licensed educator for Social Studies with a Masters in Education. My M.Ed specialisation is in Globalisation and this has allowed me to cover several important aspects on world history, internationalism, world economy, globalization, and its impact on humanitarian society. I take a special interest in teaching social studies subjects like Business Management, Economics, Humanities, History, Geography and Global Perspectives. Additionally, I also hold a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a 120 hours' TEFL certification. I have a total of over 6 years of corporate business management experience, in the field of business management and brand and digital marketing, with companies like Unilever and Wilmar. Having a corporate real-life experience of several years, alongside my master’s in education has helped me to develop a perfect blend of transdisciplinary skills and real-life applications directly relevant to a social studies educator. My teaching philosophy is centred around the belief that 'every child is unique'. Hence, I believe in taking time to understand them, gather data around them and approach them accordingly. It's important to let students discover themselves and appreciate their uniqueness, important to let them know that It's alright to make mistakes, that its alright to not be good in all subjects. After all, learning should be fun as the objective is learning and not necessarily acing it all. Outside of my work, I love cooking, dancing, spending time amidst nature, go to the gym, be a part of marketing and finance clubs, participate on matters relating to globalisation, world economy and humanitarian society, etc. I'm a very social person, a conversationalist with a happy-go-lucky attitude.
