Dr. Mohiuddin did his Ph.D. on "Bangladesh's Bilateralteral Investment Treaties (BITs) and Its Regulatory Power as a Host State" under the supervision of Professor Dr. Prabhash Ranjan, Faculty of Law, South Asian University, New Delhi, India. Dr. Mohiuddin is the first one who worked/researched on Bangladesh's BITs in detailed (BITs from the year1980 to 2019). In 1980, Bangladesh started its BIT programme with the United Kingdom (UK) aimed at promoting and protecting foreign investments. Before completing Ph.D, Dr. Mohiuddin was awarded a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in International Investment Law in 2016 by South Asian University, where he studied his M.Phil. on a Faculty of Law, South Asain university "Indian Government Silver Jubilee Scholarship (Fully-funded)." He studied Post Graduate Diploma in International Law and Diplomacy from the Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi, India, and Dr. Mohiuddin secured a first-class. Dr. Mohiuddin also holds Degrees in Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Bachelor of Honours [LL.B.(Hons.)] from the ASA University Bangladesh, Dhaka Bangladesh.
