Mohsin Rakhangi is the ex-Director of Elearning, Center of Excellence (ECE) and Founding Director of Testing Center (STEPS) since 2016. Began working with Gulf University in 2005 and excelled at every position and challenge. Joined as an Asst. Admin Officer in IT Department for implementing Quality Management System procedures, but also successfully streamlined processes for other departments like eLearning, HR and Security. Managed eLearning department from 2006 to 2019 and developed a robust Learning Management System for the university. Also assisted HR in selecting courses for staff based on their job description, performance management and psychometric analysis. Evaluated several elearning platforms, courses and content to ensure quality in training for staff. Regularly delivered training and orientation sessions on LMS portal. In 2012, founded STEPS Testing Center, one of the largest in Kuwait, for university students and public, which now caters to several academic, professional and corporate exams. Introduced international exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PearsonVUE, Certiport, KRYTERION, PSI etc. Also started IT Academies such as Microsoft Imagine Academy, CISCO NetAcademy and CompTIA Academy for GUST students training and certification. Started discipline-based tests, language tests and psychometric assessments for fresh & experienced graduate recruitment projects e.g. Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), State Audit Bureau (SAB), The National Fund, Arab Fund, Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), Capital Markets Authority (CMA) etc. Achieved professional certifications such as Certified Trainer, Certified Educator, Certified Personal Profile Analysis Practitioner, Certified in Professional Communication, Master Certification in Entrepreneurship etc. Taught IT modules in Business Practicum course for few years at University. Prior to university, worked for Bondstrand Kuwait a leading pipe manufacturing company. Handled administration, purchases, warehousing & shipping responsibilities. Worked in India with Times Bank, India (now HDFC Bank), in as Millennium Branch Administrator and TFCI (Trade Fairs & Conferences International) as Organizer for several International Conferences in India. Participated in market research consultancy projects in India, Kuwait and UAE. Passionate about educational technology, training, online exams, psychometric testing etc. Represented University at international conferences, seminars and group discussions.
