SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE: O’Reilly Automotive Enterprises DC 22 Phoenix, Assistant Transportation Supervisor - Duties consist of working alongside our Transportation Supervisor with - Kronos -Scheduling - Departures - Xrt Log - Store concerns/Store alerts -and Driver reviews. Walk route trailers before they depart, checking proper loading and securement. Ensure pallet jack maintenance. Log condition report. Control the monthly tractor and trailer reports to be completed on the first of each month and filed for audit. Get customer audits from service provider every two weeks update and file. Check and file route manifest. Check to ensure we receive all fuel receipts. Clear Zonar EDL unidentified events. Check Zonar EDL pre/post inspection. Help in yard and route coverage as needed. Walk yard performing a visual check on equipment before drivers arrive. Walk dock checking route trailers, working with shipping supervisor to ensure proper loading. Hand out route manifest to drivers and look for time stamp. Oversee all other duties involving Transportation. Available to all drivers/stores/DC/DM's 24/7. Ability to troubleshoot and manage transportation issues and resolve them in a timely manner so as to not interrupt deliveries. Ability to make good judgement calls on basic mechanical maintenance expenses and keep them in house rather than to forward to an outside vendor(s). CREDENTIALS: Class A Driver’s License with Doubles/Triples. Tank Vehicle and TSA approved Hazardous Materials endorsement. TWIC Card Cal-OSHA Forklift Certified EDUCATION: Advanced School of Driving, Professional Truck Driving Course-Two week course completed March 2006. Colegio De Bachilleres México City, Mexico.
