About Moises Silva-Dennis

My passion for accounting started from a simple need I noticed while assisting my father run his small, family-owned construction business—it had no system for accounting! Although my accounting knowledge was rudimentary then, I found the simple task of tracking revenue and expenses satisfying. Segregating, organizing and tracking financial data meshed with the way my brain is wired. This new-found passion led me to my first job in the accounting profession as an accounts payable associate. It was here that I discovered I love fast paced environments where I can—at the same time—collaborate with others. I strive for perfection and my attention to detail is evidenced throughout my work. Four years into my accounting career, I decided to go back to school and obtain a bachelor’s degree in accounting. I started from scratch and am currently a junior at the University of Maryland Smith School of Business. While attending college as a full-time student, I’ve continued to work part-time. I love what I do and look forward to obtaining my CPA license
