I’m a global IT and SAP leader and roll-up-your-sleeves problem solver with 20+ years of experience driving innovation and transformation for large, matrix organizations. I work big and small—steering a multiyear enterprise transformation or supporting individual business units and teams. I pinpoint needs and balance long-range vision with deep-dive technical expertise and an unwavering focus on people. MY BACKGROUND—SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT I have always been intrigued by technology. But I grew up in a family of doctors and innovators and thought medicine would be my path. I attended Johns Hopkins University for two years but it didn’t ignite my curiosity in the way I expected, so I pursued tech certifications and paved my own way. I began a career in IT and SAP instead. During those years, I earned a Bachelor’s in Business and then was drawn once again by the allure of medicine (families can be persuasive), this time at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. After two and a half years, I got real. It was good work: thought-provoking and valuable. But it didn’t inspire me. I finally tossed other people’s ideas aside and forged a career path all my own. I advanced from IT consulting to high-stakes roles: senior SAP technical expert, then global strategist overseeing business transformation and innovation in products, security, and Agile. On a daily basis, I bring together technology and operations, strategy and relentless execution. This is where I love to be. MY APPROACH—ALL PEOPLE, ALL THE TIME I create workplaces that are encouraging yet challenging—where individuals can take calculated risks, offer up bold ideas, and make mistakes as they learn and grow. I actively seek out and cultivate talent, and foster cultures where people are valued, appreciated, and supported. Plus, I’m infinitely collaborative and have a knack for building connections across organizations and functions. Nothing gets a project moving faster—or a company operating better—than open lines of communication. To me, people always come first. Businesses succeed because of the people who work there.
