About Molly Dotson

I am a PM that supports hiring events at Microsoft. Previously I was both a recruiter with direct hiring and people manager experience over the past decade, primarily in the tech field with Microsoft. I am passionate not only about the tech field but also the ability to connect individuals with the perfect team, enabling them all to succeed. I have a unique perspective in creating and leading teams in the technology field, working firsthand with Microsoft customers in both sales, support and training. These partnerships have taken place both in person and virtual/hybrid. I have also assisted with the hiring and onboarding for peers, providing my insights on their teams and current gaps in the business. Technology became a forefront focus for all businesses and individuals during the pandemic. During this time, I created and managed teams that were able to pivot to what our customers needed in this new landscape; creating business/strategic plans with the team as well as with the customers. Finding new ways to connect and help our customers accomplish their renewed focuses led to even more meaningful relationships with them. As a people first manager, I keep Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the forefront of all teams, ensuring we create and maintain a safe space for voices to not only be shared but to be acted upon. In the recruiting space, this included partnerships within the local area so we were able to represent the community that we supported. This led to successful in person hiring events as well as onboarding from these partnerships. Providing a diverse slate of candidates created well rounded teams that allowed for us to better understand and connect with our customers.
