Analytics is the search for clarity” - As an analyst, I listen to understand not just the what but the why of stakeholder needs. I then translate business requirements into meaningful datasets that can provide actionable insights. I pull / clean / shape the data using SQL and then create and publish the reports / charts / visuals using Tableau and Excel as appropriate. I automate the process whenever possible using ETL tools such as MS SSIS / SSRS / Python. I follow-up to make sure client expectations are met. Recent work includes – • Brought in with new team of healthcare analysts within first month of conversion to Epic for local healthcare clinic. Quickly completed Clarity, HIPPA and Population Health ethics training to certify for access to Epic data. Produced two dashboards from Reporting Workbench export data in first month (Open Chart Days and Encounters Count by Week) • Work with large datasets and proficient in bulk data handling. Skills include excellent SQL skills, Python for moving and merging datasets, Tableau for charts for executives and Excel for tactical, actionable data sheets. • Easily learned Epic Clarity data model to pull encounters, orders, medicines, diagnosis codes and test results. Submitted two federal government compliance reports to Indian Health Services (Government Performance & Results Act and Immunization Coverage for American Indian / Alaska Native population)
