About Molly Jaques

I am currently an LPC (License Professional Counselor) through Dora, I have been a counselor working with children and their families on and off for 20 years. I have experience in Individual therapy, Play therapy, Family therapy and Group therapy. I have worked in residential treatment settings, school settings such as day-treatment centers, school-based therapist, eating disorder groups, individual therapy with adults, children, and adolescents. I have experience in behavioral management, crisis intervention, identify and report abuse, risk assessments, intakes, anger management, conflict resolution, parenting skills and coping skills. I have helped clients deal with truancy issues, bullying, learning disabilities, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma including physical, sexual and psychological abuse as well as neglect, parenting issues and mood disorders. I also have experience in developing treatment plans and behavioral plans as well as completing intakes. I am committed to continuing my education and skills as a therapist. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and play therapy.
