As the Director of Employee Experience at Trail Blazers, I lead a dynamic and effective HR department that supports the growth and culture of our nonprofit organization.With over 5 years of experience in this role and 10 with this organization, I have developed and implemented organizational strategies, policies, and systems that foster staff attraction, retention, development, and satisfaction. My core competencies include staff training, employee engagement, program compliance, and safety oversight. I have a BA in Critical Social Thought from Mount Holyoke College, a Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Leadership from Cornell University, and an Executive Education Certificate from Columbia Business School. I am also a certified First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor and a Visitor for the American Camp Association. My passion is in creating social-emotional growth opportunities for young people and the adults who serve them, leveraging my extensive experience in the summer camp and youth development fields.
