About Molly Schned

As an Equity Coach in the Office of Equity in St. Paul Public Schools, with a passion for fostering inclusive environments and empowering individuals to reach their full potential, I leverage 12 years of experience as an English educator, to work collaboratively with educators across the district to develop and implement strategies for promoting equity and inclusion. Through workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching, I assist equity leaders in recognizing and addressing systemic biases, fostering cultural competence, and creating equitable practices and policies in their schools. By providing guidance on topics such as unconscious bias, privilege, and intersectionality, I empower individuals to become advocates for change within their respective environments. Committed to dismantling barriers to success and promoting social justice, I strive to create spaces where every student and staff member feels valued and heard.During my tenure as an English educator, I cultivated a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds felt supported and encouraged to succeed. I developed engaging curriculum materials that incorporated diverse perspectives and experiences, fostering critical thinking and empathy among my students. Additionally, I collaborated with colleagues to implement inclusive teaching practices and provide support for students with diverse learning needs.
