Passionate Agronomist | Agricultural Advocate | Women in Ag Champion Born and raised on a small farm in beautiful Tasmania, I’ve carried my rural roots into a diverse and committed career in Agriculture. My journey began during my final year at the University of Tasmania, where I completed my Bachelor of Agriculture and stepped into my first role as a hybrid seed production Agronomist. Specialising in carrots and brassicas, I was captivated by the intricate world of seed production but eager to expand my expertise beyond my initial focus. My career path has been enriched by varied experiences. I took on the role of Territory Manager for an Agri-tech company pioneering livestock data capture technology. Here, I managed sales and provided technical support across Tasmania and Central QLD, honing my skills in client relations and tech solutions for farmers. Seeking further growth, I explored farm insurance, briefly serving as a Farm Insurance Specialist. Though valuable, this experience reminded me that my true passion lay working with farmers and helping them achieve growth, profitability and sustainable business. Today, I’m proud to be a Tropical pasture seed production and procurement Agronomist at Barenbrug, a globally renowned seed production leader.
