About Molly Trowse

About me: In my career thus far as an early childhood educator, I have been fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of children in several different locals and settings. This has really shaped who I am as an educator, and has introduced me to amazing educators and leaders whom I have been able to learn from. I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Education (Primary), and am due to be graduating in 2020. I have decided to extend my knowledge and gain another qualification, as working in a primary setting is something that I have wanted to do since I was in high school. I have always loved children; however, it wasn’t until I began working in the early childhood education sector, that I had much experience. During this time in child care, I have developed my skills and received extra training and support to further my understanding, and deepen my knowledge surrounding policies, experiences, and relationships. My skills and attributes: I believe that the main quality that sets me apart from other educators is my hardworking attitude, and my ability to build trusting relationships with both children and families. I think that this skill is so important both in early childhood education and primary education, as parents are trusting us with the most precious thing in their lives – their children. Because of this, I feel a huge responsibility to provide the best quality education and care services that I can offer. Some other skills that I possess include, high quality communication skills, professionalism both in and out of the classroom, and I am a team player, yet equally able to self-direct.
