About Molly Turnbach

Each day, I wake up ready to inspire & nurture the human spirit. For the last 5 years, I've had the opportunity to do this as my immediate job description. I started at Starbucks fresh out of high school as a barista, and worked my way up to the management level. Now that I've graduated college, I am eager to begin a career with new possibilities. In December of 2021, I graduated from Arizona State University with two bachelors degrees in Political Science (B.A.) and Digital Audiences (B.S.). Studying political science has given me the tools needed to understand the complexities of various governing bodies and institutions across the globe. This degree has helped me turn my abstract thoughts and theories into verifiable, cognisant, well-explained educated opinions; which allows me to humbly and effectively communicate my thoughts and ideas with all sorts of people! I added digital audiences as a second major to better understand the role technology plays in our ever-changing world, while simultaneously learning how to use technology to its fullest extent. Studying digital audiences has better prepared me for a world beyond the pandemic. With Covid-19 threatening mankind over the past few years, we have been forced into new modes of action and we have relied on technology in ways that we have not before. If these two majors came together to become one, I feel that it would result in studying various relationships between political institutions, audiences reached via digital platforms, and the social impact that yields as a result. While I am young, and without much experience, I can assure you I am the most passionate applicant you will come across. Everything I do, I do with my all. Everyday, I show up ready to nurture the human spirit, one smile at a time.
