About Molly Winter

I am an architectural designer with PIVOT Architecture. I have a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and a bachelors of Environmental Studies from Oberlin College. The search for sustainable ways to live has driven my career from working with IceStone to reformulate their product line to meet MBDC’s Cradle to Cradle Gold Rating, to working with Recode to legalize composting toilets in the state of Oregon. My inquisitive, research based approach to learning and sharing has led me to work with some incredible people and organizations. My provocative activism with Mathew Lippincott around sanitation access and sustainability led to a series of talks in Portland called Talkin Shit Dinners. Potlucks where Mathew and I gave short lectures on different crises in sanitation. Who could resist such a great combo? In April 2016, I was honored to speak about integrated water management at TEDx Bend. Several months later, the video was featured on TED.com check it out in the link below.
