Families in crisis can’t afford to wait. I know this not from theory, but from lived experience. When my own family faced the reality of supporting a loved one with bipolar disorder, I discovered a glaring gap: while resources existed for the individual, families were left on the sidelines with no roadmap and no voice. That experience ignited my WHY—and for over 25 years, it has been my mission to equip families with tools to move from chaos to connection. As the Founder of Cool Family Solutions, I’ve developed accredited programs (recognized by Canadian Council Professional Certification) that put families back at the center of care. Our work has already impacted families across six provinces and territories, with 91% of participants reporting increased confidence and resilience.
