About Mona Gray
As a registered nurse, Mona Gray has worked in addictions health in Vancouver; in rural and urban emergency; long term care and primary health nursing in BC and Montreal, and in community health nursing in Guinea with Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders. Her passion for social justice and equity led her to complete an Indigenous health focused Master of Public Health at the University of Toronto, during which time she worked in evaluation and Indigenous health research at St. Michael’s Hospital, and as a Public Health Agency of Canada student public health officer with the governments of Nunavut and Yukon. She is a CIHR Public Health Policy fellow and currently lives in West Kelowna, working for the First Nations Health Authority.
