I am passionate about building communities that work collaboratively and democratically to achieve common goals. I care deeply about improving environmental sustainability, connecting people with the natural environment, and empowering women. I value organisations and individuals that put ethical principles into practice in effective and innovative ways. My focus is on improving the cohesiveness and effectiveness of small teams working within a wider ethical or educational organisation. I particularly enjoy creating and maintaining conceptual and practical systems in order to support teams in achieving their best. I like to work in situations where people are encouraged to contribute, where those affected by a decision have a voice in the decision-making process, and where decision making is transparent and accountable. I am most comfortable working within a culture that values strategic thinking and continual learning, and where both successes and failures are evaluated to allow for constant improvement towards best practice. My strengths are in analytical thinking, keeping track of details, creative problem solving and seeing a project through to completion.
