About Monali Banerjee

I am an experienced book editor with a demonstrated history of working in the publishing industry for over 19 years, with experience as both a full-timer and freelancer. I've worked at Times Group Books, The Times of India Group, for 13 years where I used my skills in copyediting, and developing content to improve raw content and make it printworthy. Over the years, I've partnered with both companies and individual authors on projects related to fiction, profile books/CTBs, travel guides, health, lifestyle, food guides, and spiritual & well-being. During this time, I've seen promotions, and have been recognised multiple times as an excellent contributor to the department along with being well appreciated by my authors! During my 7+ years as a freelancer, I've had the priviledge of working on a variety of books and publications by Penguin, Oxford University Press, Sterling Publishers, New Concept Information Systems (NCIS), Frank Bros, and Macmillan. I have also worked as a full-time editor with New Concept Information Systems (NCIS), where the key clients were UN organisations such as WHO, WWF, UNICEF, WFP, among others and departments and ministeries of the Government of India such as HRD, women, child and family welfare,
