Olá! Tudo bem? For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been intrigued by cultures and languages different from my own. During college, I was a regular at the school study abroad program office. This worked out to my benefit, as I was able to enroll in multiple term abroad experiences during school – twice to Brazil (studying sociology and Portuguese) and once to Mexico (studying Mexican theater and Spanish). So, there’s no surprise that I ended up in a career where I get to partner with and support people from around the globe. Sometimes, I get lucky and my clients teach me words and phrases in other languages. 🤓 All day, every day, for over two decade, I have been helping companies gain access to the best global talent by supporting their immigration programs, and ensuring that their foreign national employees seamlessly secure the necessary authorization to work and live in the U.S. On many occasions, I’ve supported my foreign national clients at every step of their U.S. immigration journey – from initial entry into the U.S. in a nonimmigrant status though permanent residence or even naturalization! The best part of my job is developing relationships with my clients and learning how my efforts positively impact their lives and businesses. THIS is what makes me smile after a long day of work.
