My journey in design began in 1992 in Delhi leading to the founding of Xception The Design Studio in Hyderabad in 1995. For me design is a dynamic interplay of expression exploration and innovation. It’s about crafting spaces that resonate deeply with those who inhabit them—balancing aesthetics with functionality to create environments that are both beautiful and practical. I have always been drawn to the challenge of understanding people’s unique lifestyles and transforming their visions into personalized spaces. This process of turning dreams into reality is both a challenge and a reward driving my passion for design. Looking ahead my focus lies in celebrating Indian sensibilities while integrating contemporary influences fostering sustainable design through localization. Persuading clients to embrace these values is an ongoing challenge but one that I am committed to overcoming. By promoting sustainable practices I aim to bridge the gap between consumerism and sustainability tradition and modernity. I am inspired by the beauty found in imperfection and thrive on creating innovative cost-effective solutions that maximize space without compromising on style. My designs often incorporate Indian art DIY elements and upcycled materials blending these with touches of luxury to create spaces that are both unique and timeless. In my work I seek to redefine boundaries merging the old with the new and the practical with the aesthetic. My approach is rooted in the belief that great design should not only meet functional needs but also evoke a sense of joy and inspiration. Through my ongoing journey I aim to continue crafting spaces that are not only visually stunning but also deeply personal sustainable and reflective of the ever-evolving nature of design. I am committed to creating spaces that rejuvenate the soul and evolve with their users over time. Through innovative human-centered design I aim to establish new boundaries between trends craftsmanship and sustainability delivering interiors that are both functional and visually captivating.
