In 2018, I started at BCBSMA as the Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion intern. As a Marketing major, I was brand new to the world of talent and healthcare. Taking a risk on an internship outside of my intended discipline was the best move I ever made. I got to utilize my skills and education in a field that I am now even more passionate about. The internship opportunity gave me the foundation to launch my career and make an impact in my community. After my summer internship, I jumped at the offer to join as a full time associate! In May 2019, I rejoined BCBSMA as a Talent Acquisition Specialist where I was responsible for recruiting our front-line service center phone representatives- the face and trusted allies for our members and providers. I recently I transitioned to my new role as the Early in Career Talent & Employer Branding Program Manager.
