About Monica Johnson

I have recently graduated from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa with a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a Quantitative Economic Concentration as well as a minor in Business. During that time I was also a collegiate golfer who had to balance a rigorous athletic schedule with the demands of school and other internships. This allowed me to sharpen my time management skills further and helped me develop a strong work ethic, enabling me to excel in both areas. Golf has also taught me how to effectively work within a team setting to help motivate and communicate with others to reach a common goal successfully. I demonstrated these skills during my internships working as a Research Assistant for UHERo and as a Financial Analyst for Stratify LLC. During these internships, I successfully identified $2.7 million of underbilling for over 650 employees and contributed to in-depth Economic Reports about the Hawaiian Economy which highlights my hard work and determined nature for success.
