About Monica Labelle

I am a lawyer qualified to practice law in Spain and France. I began my career at Cuatrecasas in Barcelona, in the Litigation and International Arbitration, where I practiced for almost five years. Currently, I serve as Deputy Counsel in the Ibero-American team at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris. I hold a law degree and a master’s degree in international business law from ESADE School of Law. I participated in exchange programs at Sciences Po Law School in Paris, focusing on international commercial arbitration, and at l’Università Bocconi in Milan. I am fluent in English, Spanish, French and Catalan, with a working knowledge of Italian. My work experience has confirmed my vocation for this rewarding, challenging and continually changing practice, but it has also led me to the conclusion that our legal dispute resolution system has great challenges ahead. It is my desire to contribute to its improvement.
