Monica Lee Music and Kildare Records are both designed to promote, produce and facilitate distribution Monica Lee's creations and talents. After more than 19 years on stage and in the local music community, Monica has launched both her multidisciplinary music company and record label. Monica's goal has always been and will continue to be to make beautiful music and share it with those around her far and near. With a new CD in the works Monica continues to share the special piece of magic she has been cultivating from birth. Together with her band, the Monica Lee Band, they have managed to bring to life the songs haunting her pillow and her friends answering machines. Monica has partnered up with Orith Horwitz developing curriculum and teaching Jump Into Music in Vancouver and in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver island. The parent and tot music program offers world class musical education for families. Musicology for babies, this program explores music from around the world with classes that are engaging, educational and entertaining for both child and parent. Monica teaches 10 classes, 5 days a week in community centres around Vancouver. Specialties: Songwriter, musician, performer, arranger, producer, project manager, visionary, online marketer, early childhood educator, private musical instruction - voice, piano, composition and music theory.
