About Monica Risch

My goal is to intentionally find ways to connect, motivate, and coach people toward seeing beyond the surface by digging to a deeper understanding of one another, finding new ways to come together. I am currently working at UFP Industries, Inc, as the Event Specialist for the Performance & Development team in Human Resources. Managing Workday courses and enrollments, negotiating and booking hotels for lodging and meeting space, and planning over 100 training events across the country in 2024. Previously, I worked at The Colossian Forum as the Relationships Manager. Through my time there, I cultivated relationships from one-to-one small group leaders, to denominational, educational, and organizational leadership teams by building trust and grounded relationships. I also consistently and effectively communicated through teaching, coaching, training hundreds of leaders at training events centered around transforming interpersonal and organizational differences into growth and development opportunities. I also co-founded an event planning company with my good friend. Grand Occasions specialized in planning events of every kind; including weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, reunions, meetings, and more! Thriving in high-intensity, collaborative team environments and helping my teammates do the same is a priority for me. Doing so while managing multiple priorities and keeping the project goal in front of the team, while challenging, is essential. Managing ongoing projects, connecting with constituents, and deepening relationships is not only in my experience, but what drives me in my mission.
