Hi there, my name is Monicah Mwangi, I am an enthusiastic Procurement and Supply Chain Management Specialist with over 14 years of experience in Product and Service Sourcing, Vendor Management, Warehouse Management, Operations Management, and Strategy Planning and Implementation in the Public Sector. These courses combined with certifications, training, and on-the-job learning provided me with a wide range of skills and practical experience in procurement, contract management, and operations. I became interested in this industry because Supply Chain is a global profession that gives me an opportunity to practice globally. My career gives me the opportunity for delivering cost savings strategies, drive efficiency, and provide solutions around procurement processes for organizations. As a person of high integrity, and trustworthiness, I enjoy streamlining the whole procurement process and ensuring fairness in the bidding and tendering process. Facilitating this where public procurement has been marked with corruption, has been my greatest joy so far. Among my professional accomplishments are: As a Champion, spearheaded the Setting up of the Unit at KPLC under the guidance of the Project Manager. Participated in the implementation of an E-procurement module by SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), from blueprint stage, development, acceptance, and training of end users both internal and vendors. Awarded SRM E-Procurement Champion. Trainer and member of SRM help desk on E-procurement. I use my previous experiences, skills, and expertise to develop practical procurement solutions for businesses of all sizes, organizations, and institutions. Furthermore, I have excellent communication and people skills, with which I have formed strong partnerships for businesses, resulting in increased profit margins.
