About Monil Chugh

As a Master of Science in Quality Management Science student at the Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore I have developed a passion for data analytics process optimization and quality improvement. My academic background in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Mandi coupled with my coursework in statistical process control Six Sigma advanced regression analysis and project management has equipped me with the tools to drive efficiency and innovation in both technical and managerial roles. I was fortunate to receive the Merit cum Means scholarship during my undergraduate studies reflecting my commitment to academic excellence. I have a strong foundation in SAP Material Management (MM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules honed during my time at Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL). As an SAP SME I spearheaded the rollout of the SAP MM module across 14 locations mentoring teams and ensuring seamless adoption. My experience as a Maintenance Engineer enabled me to use predictive analytics to reduce machine breakdowns improving coal production efficiency. I have also managed logistics operations as a Store Manager and overseen procurement processes as a Procurement Assistant. These roles along with projects in dynamic pricing quantitative stock market analysis and classification models using Python R and SQL have strengthened my technical and leadership skills. Looking forward I am eager to combine my expertise in data science quality management and SAP implementation to pursue a career in data-driven operations supply chain management or consulting. I aim to leverage my skills in process optimization and predictive analytics to help organizations make smarter data-backed decisions that drive operational excellence and sustainable growth.
