I love having visitors! Fun Facts About Me- I am passionate about education- I love to travel and see the world- I am determined to be the best version of myself. Education: I graduated from California State University East Bay in Hayward, CA with a B.A. in Ethnic Studies with an African American Studies Option. Then I went on to graduate from California State University, Fullerton with my Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education. At some point, I hope to go on and earn either an Ed.D or Ph.D. Career Interests: My main career goal is to get involved in various functional areas of Higher Education/Student Affairs. I'm also looking forward to joining some organizations that will allow me to connect with others in the field of student affairs. I want to network and build relationships. I can have a community of people around me with the same goal of supporting students. Study Abroad: One of my best life experiences was studying abroad in Jaén, Spain through the CSU International Programs year-long immersive learn-language program. I was able to travel to 10 different countries and establish a life-long relationship with my host family. My study abroad experience still informs the way I think about myself and the world around me. Goals: I plan to continue my long term goals of becoming fluent in Spanish and continuously gaining knowledge about Higher Education and Student Affairs. Another goal of mine is to work in an environment where I feel valued. Lastly, one of my passions is to support Black students through their higher education experiences. I was one of those students that did well in college but had a community around me pushing me to do my very best and I want to be in that community for students who look like me.
