About Monique Marques

I am currently a second-year manager in the banking and capital markets sector. I have been an auditor for 4.5 years and through this I have discovered that I am enthusiastic about auditing, enhancing client service, problem solving and the banking and capital markets sector. I have been provided the opportunity to audit banking clients that have both local as well as international listings (Listed and dual listed clients) as well as unlisted clientele. I have experience with retail banking clients, commercial banking clients, stockbroking clients, Investment property entities, legal entities, as well as some retail industries. I was early promoted to manager after serving only one year as an assistant manager which is evidential of my diligence and drive to succeed in everything I set out to achieve. Prior to my auditing experience I completed one year of academic articles with the University of the Witwatersrand which is only offered to prestigious few individuals who meet certain requirements including outstanding academic results. This experience included tutoring, lecturing and assisting a multitude of diverse learners with differing skills and needs. This enabled me to enhance my communication skills and enhance my passion for helping others. I pride myself in delivering a high quality of work and enjoy diversifying and expanding my current skill set. I am self-motivated and have developed good work relationships due to the high standard of work produced.
