About Monique Selbach

Monique holds a degree in Business Administration from PUCRS and an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas. She is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, and has intermediate proficiency in Spanish. She has completed several courses in compliance, including the Compliance & Ethics Academy offered by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).In her current role as Regional Ethics & Compliance Sr. Manager at Rimini Street, she leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance programs across Latin America and Europe. Her responsibilities include anti-corruption and anti-bribery training for high-risk areas, managing complex investigations, drafting and updating policies and procedures, and conducting proactive risk assessments. She also plays a key role in Data Privacy initiatives and was responsible for launching Brazil’s Compliance Champions Program, as well as expanding ESG assessment initiatives covering Scope 1–3 emissions.Previously, at 99 Tecnologia (DiDi Chuxing) and DaVita Kidney Care, Monique built and enhanced compliance structures from the ground up—overseeing monitoring activities, fraud prevention strategies, due diligence processes, and M&A compliance integrations. Her early career at PwC provided a strong foundation in corporate intelligence, fraud investigations, and compliance maturity assessments, working under frameworks such as the FCPA and Brazilian anti-corruption laws. Notably, she participated in the Car Wash Investigation, one of the most prominent anti-corruption cases in Latin America.She has also taken part in international projects in the United States, Argentina, and Colombia.
