About Montserrat Hernando

More than 25 years of internal and external consulting experience on process and IT. I currently manage ROFF Spain, the Gfi group Line of Business for SAP services. As CIO at GES (leading group in construction projects and services for the renewable energy industry) I supported the business strategy, changes and challenges. During my 22 years with Accenture, I focused on all aspects of business development and management, of business, operational and system integration consulting projects. I was responsible for providing integrated process support and solutions to many of the top companies in the sector. My expertise extends to solution definition, business architecture, processes design, program and project management, project launch and support, quality reviews; and business control systems (mostly commercial, financial and management areas). I have lived and led the whole project life cycle, from initial scope definition, to sales consummation and implementation. While I acquired valuable experience in a wide range of sectors, my primary focus was in the areas of Energy (Oil and Utilities), and Natural Resources, Public Sector (municipalities), Media and Telecommunications. Those value added projects took me to work with professionals for all over the world, as well as living abroad (México, Germany, South Africa,). I have highly developed leadership skills, directed large international project teams and working side to side with the client team. I served as the sales lead for Enterprise and Retail Solutions for Utilities in both SPAI and EALA. For over 20 years, I acquired extensive experience in SAP solutions, including Industry Solutions such us Utilities and Oil. As a highly committed professional, adaptable to change, always interested in learning, with a working knowledge of different business levels, profiles, nationalities and cultures, I manage my experience to develop highly dedicated and efficient teams in multicultural environments.
