With almost 9 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML), I’m a data-driven professional with a passion for building strong, resilient frameworks across highly regulated environments. I’ve worked in both the financial services and regulatory sectors, most recently at BoMRA, where I led the enhancement of the organization’s risk management framework. Prior to that, I spent several years at CEDA developing and implementing enterprise risk and compliance systems.I’m a founding member of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) Integrated Risk Management team, representing BoMRA as a Risk Expert alongside Other Government Agencies (OGAs). In this regional role, I helped shape a unified risk management strategy and framework for the SACU region.I specialize in applying risk-based approaches using tools like Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) to drive informed decisions and accountability. I also have extensive experience in AML/CFT program implementation, regulatory compliance, and internal investigations—supported by my CAMS™ certification and practical fieldwork.Certifications I hold include: • Certified Governance Risk & Compliance Specialist (CGRCS™)• Certified Compliance Analyst (CCA™)• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS™)• ISO 9001:2015 QMS Lead Auditor (BOBS)I’m currently completing the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate and preparing to enroll in the Financial Risk Manager (FRM™) program by GARP to further deepen my analytical and financial risk capabilities.I thrive in environments where integrity, structure, and innovation intersect—and I’m always seeking opportunities to add real value through strategic risk and compliance leadership.
